In her heartfelt post, Miley shared a stunning photo of herself and called the nomination “an honor.” She gave a big shoutout to her collaborators, Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li, who co-wrote and produced the track. The Story Behind ‘The Last Showgirl’
The Last Showgirl, directed by Gia Coppola, stars Pamela as Shelly, a showgirl whose life takes a turn after her performance is suddenly canceled. Released in September, the film explores Shelly’s struggles and triumphs as she reclaims her identity. Variety reported that Miley recently revealed her deep admiration for Pamela. She called the actress “a part of my earliest memories with my mom.”
“We both worshipped Pam and still do,” Miley confessed. “I poured those feelings into the song. It’s about love, loss, and beauty in the face of adversity. I thought a lot about Pam’s journey and what this movie means to her, not just as an actress but as the incredible person she is.”
Tough Competition for Best Original Song
