Dorit’s Tough Year: A Rollercoaster of Drama
2024 was a tough year for Dorit. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star faced drama in her personal life and with her friendships. First, she shocked everyone by announcing her split from her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. Then, to make things worse, she had a falling out with her longtime friend, Kyle Richards. Dorit revealed the emotional toll these struggles took on her. In fact, she almost quit RHOBH after six seasons.
Feeling Tired of the Bullsh-t
Dorit wasn’t holding back. She’s been through it. In a recent interview with Vogue, she spilled the tea about how she felt during Season 13 of the show. She admitted she was “tired of the bulls–t.” The cast’s treatment of her was just too much to handle.
“I was tired of this and that,” Dorit confessed. “Some of the ladies mistook my kindness for weakness. They treated me horribly.” She made it clear: Erika Jayne was the only person in the group who had her back.
Nearly Walking Away From RHOBH
Dorit didn’t know if she could keep going. She was on the fence right up until the last minute. That’s when she reached out to Lisa Rinna for advice. Lisa told her, “You sound like you have big feelings.” She told Dorit, “If you’re over it, there’s a whole world out there. But if you’re not, go in and speak your truth.” Dorit agreed. “She was right, I had a lot to say. I had to put everything out there. I thought, ‘If I’m doing the show, I’m doing it all.’”
No Regrets About Coming Back
So, did Dorit regret coming back for Season 14? No way. In fact, she’s glad she stayed. “It was liberating. Even personally, I needed it,” she revealed. “I’ve heard a lot of people say, ‘Dorit finally found her voice.’ But that’s not what happened. I felt broken, fractured. I didn’t have much support from the women. And my husband wasn’t there either. But I came out of that dark place. Now, I feel stronger, more confident.”
Dorit’s message was clear: Season 14 was the one she needed. And, judging by the audience’s response, she’s glad she stuck with it. “I’m ready for a powerful 2025,” she said with confidence.
The Struggle of Watching Her Castmates’ Confessionals
But not everything about her return has been smooth sailing. Dorit admitted that watching the show, especially her castmates’ confessionals, can be tough. “It’s never easy to hear people say bad things about you,” she said. But she’s not afraid of it. “Honestly, I like watching when they talk behind my back. If they’re too scared to say it to my face, they’ll say it in their confessional. That’s cowardly. Some women in the group stay quiet and say nothing, but then you see them talking trash in their confessional. That’s just the way it is.”
She’s not fazed, though. Dorit’s ready to speak her truth, no matter what the others say behind her back. Season 14 may have had its ups and downs, but it seems like Dorit is more than ready to face whatever comes next.
