Cardi B fans will have to wait a bit longer to see her return to the stage, as the rapper has been hospitalized due to a “medical emergency.” The “WAP” artist, who recently gave birth to her third child last month, was set to headline the One Music Fest in Atlanta this weekend. However, she had to cancel her appearance just days before the event.

Taking to Instagram, Cardi shared the unfortunate news with her followers. “I’m heartbroken to say that I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency these past few days, and sadly, I won’t be able to perform at One Music Fest,” she wrote.

The rapper expressed her disappointment over missing the chance to connect with her fans, but reassured them that this is only a temporary setback. “It breaks my heart not to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there,” she added. “Bardi Gang, thank you for understanding. I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry, love y’all.”

While Cardi didn’t provide specific details about the nature of her health issue, fans are eagerly awaiting updates. Neither Cardi’s team nor her representatives have commented further at this time.
