Bradley Cooper has added a new title to his impressive list of accomplishments: restaurateur! The acclaimed actor, known for his role in Maestro, has partnered with Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Philadelphia’s famous Angelo’s Pizzeria. Together, they’re launching their first physical restaurant, Danny & Coop’s, in New York City’s Alphabet City neighborhood. The official opening is set for January 2025.

Soft Opening Brings Excitement

For eager foodies, the wait isn’t too long. Danny & Coop’s is hosting a soft opening on December 20, 21, and 22. The location, at 151 Avenue A, sits in a bustling area right across from Tompkins Square Park. During these preview days, they’re serving just one iconic item: a Philly cheesesteak.

Social Media Announcement

On December 20, the restaurant’s Instagram account shared the exciting news about the soft launch. The post detailed their limited hours: open Friday evening and then again at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. The cheesesteaks are available until they sell out, so fans need to act fast.

Content creators captured Cooper in action, working hard behind the scenes. Mike Chau, a food blogger, posted, “Coop was on the line out of sight of the dining area, turning out these top-notch cheesesteaks.

A Promising Future

Danny & Coop’s is off to a promising start. With Cooper’s hands-on involvement and DiGiampietro’s expertise, the restaurant has already won over local cheesesteak enthusiasts. If the soft opening is any indication, their January launch will be a hit. Whether you’re a fan of Cooper, cheesesteaks, or both, this new spot is worth a visit.

Just make sure to arrive early—these cheesesteaks don’t last long!
